A deep garnet red color signifies this classic Rhone style blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. The nose reveals lusty aromas of hazelnut and pistachio gelatos, chocolate strawberries, cherry sauce, and toasted meringue with a supple dryish medium body. Flavors of warm cassis, French vanilla that continues into a nice smooth lingering finish of toasted cedar.
Winemaker's Notes
The grapes were picked at perfect ripeness and full of flavor then sorted and crushed / de-stemmed. Fermentation took place in small 1 ton bins and the wines were fermented to dryness. The wine was aged in small French Oak Barrels.
