We are happy to announce The Sicilian Wine Tour
June 7 - 14, 2024

This time we will go to Sicily to picturesque roads, we will learn about culture, food, wine and history.  You will explore the

craters and the Sartorius mountains, crossing the road that has transformed over the millennia following continuous volcanic eruptions.

You will explore the taste of the most characteristic local wines of the place, accompanied by the flavor of local gastronomic products.

We will have a day trip to The Aeolian Islands, enchanting place lapped by the sea  and 'shaken' by two active volcanoes, Stromboli and Vulcano. The seven volcanic islands of the Aeolian Islands were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. An explosion of emotions will overwhelm you and will make you enjoy the sea breeze and the splendor of the panorama that will open before your eyes.

We will visit Catania, an ancient port city on the Island of Sicily’s east coast. We will have an easy walk with a local guide in a city full of unmistakable characteristics: Piazza Duomo, 'U Liotru, the Town Hall, the fish market are just some of the monuments you will see while walking along Via Etnea.

Our next stop will be Taormina, the jewel of the Ionian Sea located on Mount Tauro overlooking the eastern coast of Sicily, it is one of the most visited destinations by tourists from all over the world. The city also lays close to Mount Etna, a magnificent volcano with scenic roads leading to it and cliffs dropping to the sea forming coves with sandy beaches. Taormina is known for the Teatro Antico, which is used up to date.

Siracusa is situated in the east of Sicily and offers travelers a glimpse into past Mediterranean cultures. From its Greek theatre dating back to around the 5th century BC, to its vibrant streets filled with Baroque architecture and expansive piazzas, every corner of Siracusa tells a story. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Described by Cicero as "the greatest Greek city and the most beautiful of them all", it equaled Athens in size during the fifth century BC.

Ortigia is Siracusa’s enchanting centro storico (old town), set upon an ancient island and rich with history and charm. We will enjoy a relaxing boat trip full of history, monuments, sea caves on this guided tour. See the heart-shaped cave and the fortress of Castello Maniace.

We will head towards the magnificent city of Noto, among the baroque monuments, a UNESCO heritage site. While walking you can taste the famous

Modica chocolate and Sicilian ice cream. You will be accompanied to a famous local winery, where you will taste the typical products paired with wines chosen by the experts. After the tour, you will head to Marzamemi, an extraordinary Sicilian fishing village by the sea.
